Outlook — Setup & How-To Guide
Outlook Migration Limitations
- Emails migrate as email threads rather than individual emails, so the ticket count corresponds to the number of email threads.
- Only a single staff member (the account owner) ever migrates — all tickets are assigned to them.
- Outlook has hidden text within emails. This hidden text, along with any attachments it contains, is inserted into the reply regardless of whether the reply itself has text or attachments (this depends on whether it's returned in HTML).
- All Outlook tickets are shown with the status "Closed" on the mapping.
- The "Available records for All Data migration" column shows the contact count from People only (excluding contacts pulled from tickets), while the "Amount of migrated records during demo" column shows the count from People plus tickets combined — so the migrated count can end up higher than the total available count.
- Inline images migrate as attachments.
