It's strongly recommended to disable automations, notification, triggers, rules, workflows, and priority matrix if "Important migration notes" on the right-hand side of the demo migration page say to do so.
If you do not disable them, then they will fire and will influence the migrated data as well as they can send the notifications to the customers.
If disabling automations isn't possible, consider the following workaround:
- Use the "Add a new tag to the migrated tickets" option if available in the pre-built automation list on the mapping settings.
- Then, establish specific rules for automations and notifications to avoid firing them for tickets with the added tag. This approach allows for data migration while keeping automations enabled.
