You can map the statuses how they should be migrated. If you want to migrate closed tickets as closed, pending as pending, just map the status values in that way. If the names of the statuses differ, just map them, how you want tickets to be reflected after the migration.
On the sample screenshot below you can see that the statuses mapped in the way, that open tickets will migrate as open, pending as in progress and resolved tickets will migrate as closed, because they are mapped in that way
