Guidelines for CSV file structure
To successfully import data from CSV files, follow these steps and ensure your files meet the key requirements:
- Header row with the required columns.
- Ensure the files are saved with UTF-8 encoding.
- Use commas as delimiters between data values.
- Use double-quote marks (") for multi-line data entries.
- Prepare separate CSV files for tickets, comments and knowledge base articles.
Steps to Import
- Use the Migration Wizard to upload the prepared CSV files.
- Follow the Migration Wizard's prompts to map your CSV data to the corresponding fields in your help desk system.
- Review the mapped data and start the import process.
